In the last years has made the automobile industry in Iran an enormous walked forward.
After over three decades was produced only a domestic mark (Peykann),
a modified variant of the mark Hilman from England.
In the 90's began with the establishment of new production lines for more modern
Cars, trucks and buses.
Also automotive and subcontracting firms were established.
Meanwhile in Iran are produced annually approximately two million cars.
Above all the French automobile industry Renault and Peugeot - in co-operation
with the native car-makers was able to win a larger market shares.
Also with new production-lines with most modern production methods contributed to
make a large step forward.
In the meantime have discovered different international car makers, like : Daimler company,
BMW, VOLKSWAGEN, Japanese and Chinese companies the potential car market in Iran.
They are producing industriously with the native enterprises person and
commercial motor vehicles.
Also within the range of the automotive and subcontracting firms devloped many enterprises.
In addition, Iranian car makers are already active in many countries.
The Iranian automobile industry constituted the markets for itself in
central and South America, Asian and African countries.
In many countries (Venezuella, Azarbaijan, Syria, Peru,…) were already
established the production lines.
In addition, the partial deliveries to Europe and in particular Germany are in the
focus of the Iranian automotive suppliers.
The most important Iranian car makers are: Iran Khodro and Saipa.
