Educational system in Iran:
General education:
The private schools have a long tradition in Iran. This gives it however only in the large cities
such as Teheran, Shiraz, Mashhad, Tabriz, Isfahan etc.
The school of the children is for parents in Iran an important social aspect.
Since the theoretical education in Iran a high standard has is also some Elite schools there,

School year:
The school year begins 01.07 (Mehr 7. Month in Iran Calendar) in Iran at each yearly
(21. /22.September) the beginning of autumn.
And officially 31.03 (Khordad) of the Iranian calendar (20/21 June) ends of spring and Beginning of summer.
In Iran nearly every three summer months are vacations.
Each school year in Iran consists of three sections. ( Fassl ) after completion each 1/3
yearly become the examinations written.
At the end of the vacations and/or before the beginning of the new school year, the repeat inspections are written.
Pupils the not sufficient notes got must repeat the examination. In the 6th month Iranian calendar
(Shahriwar = from 20./21. August to 20./21. September)
Grading system:
The grading is from 0 to 20, whereby 0 the worst and 20 the best note are.
In each examination the pupils (inside) must be able to attain at least 8-10 points.
The Iranian school year begins more on 20/21 September and/or 1. of the 7th month
in the Iranian calendar.
After 3 months is the 1 - 1/3 (Fasl) terminate and for the connection change one directly
into the 2/3.
The 2nd part and/or 2.Fasl ends to end 12 of the month of the Iranian calendar.
At the same time begin the Iranian New Year-Holidays. ( Noo-Rooz)
Kindergarten (Kodakestan):
The first support begins 3-4 in Iran in the year of life. It is a voluntary affair.
Parents can decide whether it your children in the kindergarten to announce or not.
Whereby this do the majority of the families in particular in the cities.
Primary school (Dabestan):
Only with the completion of the sixth life yearly the children must into the school.
The primary school takes 5 years (Dabestan).
Middle ripe ones (Rahnemaie):
After the 5th school year the children are resumed into the so-called middle one school.
This lasts 3 years. (Rahnemayie)
Up to the completion of the central stage the subjects of instruction are in all stages generally
speaking alike to country.
Then the pupils must select depending upon censorship and interest between different further education forms.
High School (Dabirestan):
The most usual school form in Iran is the High School. In addition,
there are occupation and social schools.
The High School takes usually 4 years. The pupils will dismiss with the attaining
of the Diploma certification. (school leaving Examination, High School-Diploma)
The prioritize of the High-School-Education in Iran is three different fields.
1. Mathematical-technical field
2. Natural sciences / Scientific fields
3. Literature and social matters
Diploma:
The Diploma is the condition for the permission to the university entrance examination.
The Diploma in Iran is the so-called central-diploma, i.e. question and gave up
central alike for all schools.
The examinations for the diploma are written simultaneous in generally country.
Entrance examination for the University of (Konkur):
That is subject a spreading and versatile examination. It takes several hours and
the selective procedures are complicated.
In the nominated universities only the pupils with the best Diploma notes and the best become
Konkur-Examination accepted.
Universities:
There are meanwhile many universities in Iran. Both national and private universities.
The standards for the study in Iran are different. The large Universities of, few at the number,
have a very good standard. With many other universities is the knowledge which can be conveyed
on no good conditions. _ it large effort undertake this weakness repair, it will however its time need.
